Adina Labs is pleased to announce the appointment of two principal engineers to its founding technical leadership team. This appointment marks a significant step in our commitment to building production-grade infrastructure that is auditable, performant, and fit for institutional deployment.
A Foundation Built on Depth
The individuals joining our team bring a rare combination of deep academic knowledge and applied systems experience. Their backgrounds span formal verification of smart contracts, distributed consensus algorithm design, and high-throughput EVM-compatible protocol engineering. These are disciplines that are directly relevant to the technical roadmap we are executing.
Collectively, they have contributed to Layer-2 scaling research, participated in Ethereum Improvement Proposal authorship, and designed production systems processing significant transaction volumes across multiple blockchain networks. This depth of experience reflects a deliberate decision by Adina Labs to invest in foundational engineering quality from day one.
Technical Mandate
Under their leadership, the engineering function will be responsible for:
- Designing and auditing the core smart contract suite governing tokenised real-world assets
- Implementing a sequencer architecture capable of scaling from 15 TPS at launch to over 1,000 TPS as the network matures
- Developing the zero-knowledge proof pipeline that underpins transaction privacy on the platform
- Establishing security practices including formal verification, adversarial testing, and third-party audit cycles
Protocol Philosophy
The engineering philosophy guiding Adina Labs is one of conservative construction and aggressive verification. We do not treat smart contracts as prototypes. Every production deployment will be preceded by independent security audits, formal specification review, and staged rollout procedures. This discipline is non-negotiable at the infrastructure layer, where a single vulnerability can have irreversible consequences for asset holders.
Our founding engineers share this approach. They prioritise correctness over speed, and clarity over implementation shortcuts. These qualities become increasingly valuable as the total value locked on the platform grows.
What This Means for the Ecosystem
The appointments accelerate several workstreams that are on the critical path to our mainnet launch. In the near term, users can expect tighter engineering documentation, an expanded testnet programme, and the publication of our first formal threat model.
